It is commonplace for portal Web sites to include sports feeds that provide regularly updated information about sporting competitions of interest to users of the portal.

It is also true that many people like to keep up-to-date with sporting information whilst away from a PC. There are a number of services that offer SMS based score and/or result updates for various sports.

PicoForms' Mobile Edition offers an attractive alternative to the normal text-based service. Being XHTML based the PicoForms' client is able to take on the same look and feel as a conventional Web site, but adapted to the mobile form.

The sample application shown in the screenshot consumes a standard SportML feed directly. The user interface is bound directly to the data - and so updates itself automatically every time the data changes.
